Early life of Dwight Eisenhower
Dwight Eisenhower was born on the date October 14, 1890 in Denison, Texas. He was one of the sons of the modest couple, David Jacob Eisenhower and his wife Ida Elizabeth Eisenhower. David would travel across the country looking for better opportunities to earn more income to support the education of their seven sons. With the thoughts of providing his family with the necessary wealth to maintain a healthy living space, David Moved to Abilene where he was able to secure a job within his brother-in-laws creamery.
While David Eisenhower did work very hard, It wasn't enough to support the education of all seven sons, thats when the brothers themselves set up a deal with each other. After high school, they would each work to supply the educational needs of their siblings, in this case Dwight, when finishing college, joined his father in the creamery to assist in paying for his Edgar, his younger brother's, tuition. They would switch their roles in the deal every 2 years until they were both able to complete their time at Uni. While David was able to work to get Edgar 2 years in college, Edgar never had to worry about the deal himself as Dwight Eisenhower on the year 1911, was accepted to the United States Military Academy free of charge. Dwight Eisenhower complete his time and graduated on the year 1915, where he was then commissioned as Second Lieutenant.

Actions During World War I
After his graduation, he was placed by the military to Texas. This is where he met the love of his life, Mamie Geneva. After a short 9 months, the couple decided best that they were to be wed on the date july 1, 1916. To add the cherry to the sundae, he was also promoted first lieutenant on the same day. After his marriage and promotion to first lieutenant, he was consistently relocated around the different states of America. He was brought to the states Texas, Georgia, Maryland, Pennsylvania and New Jersey.
On the year of 1917, the US officially entered World War I. On the same year, Mamie gave birth to their first son, Doud. Though his son newly entered the world, Dwight Eisenhower still put the nation's needs first and hoped to be relocated to a location overseas where he could fight for his nation using the skill and intellect he has harnessed and sharpened over the years. While being eager to fight for the nation, he was simply appointed to leading a Tank Training Centre at Pennsylvania. This is where he spent the war assisting the country, though disappointed he continued to show his love for his nation training fellow soldiers in the art of tank warfare, landing him with the rank of Major during the year of 1920.

We are going to have peace even if we have to fight for it.
Rising Through the Military Ranks
Dwight Eisenhower's Actions during World War II earned him the highest possible rank to be awarded to a man in the army, he was promoted to a five star general. Though the road wasn't full of happiness, on the year 1921 death struck the home. Eisenhower's first born, Doud, died at the age of 3 due to Scarlet Fever, which was at the time untreatable. The year after the death of his first son, Mamie and Dwight conceived their second son, John Sheldon Doud during the year 1922. It was in this same year that Dwight Eisenhower continued to serve the Military by becoming the executive officer of General Conner. Conner understood the potential that Dwight had within himself, and consistently nagged him on to joining the prestigious Command and General Staff School. With the pushing of General Conner, Dwight attended the school and received a reputation for being a brilliant military commander. He graduated first in his class of 245.
With the graduation from the Military Academy, Dwight's earned reputation buzzed some interest in his military prowess. He was then taken under the wing of multiple Generals, such as General John Pershing and General Douglas MacArthur, while working his way through the ranks. In the year 1941, he received his first General Star while promoting to the rank Brigadier General. 4 months after his rewarding, Japan launched a strike against Pearl Harbour. The US army chief of staff, George C Marshall, called upon eisenhower to assist in planning of Operation torch, the invasion of north america. After the successful invasion, he was then appointed to lead 2 more, one in Sicily and one in Italy, both successful in the year 1944. Seeing his streak of tactical achievements, he was promoted on to becoming to a General. He was then placed as the Supreme Commander of the allied attack on Nazi Controlled Europe. This tactically located attack led to the downfall of the Nazi's hold on Europe itself. This orchestrated attack led to the eventual victory of the Allies. The quick rise in ranks from a lieutenant to a supreme commander led to him receiving a hero's welcome.

Presidential Rise
The war drained Eisenhower of time and energy, with this in mind he left active duty in the year 1948 and became the president of New York's City Columbia University. He stayed in this position for 2 years until President Harry Truman requested Eisenhower to take charge of the North Atlantic Treaty Organisation, better known as Nato, on the year 1950. A job that entitled Eisenhower the responsibility to create a unified military Organisation.
His stint as the Commander of the NATO organisation only lasted 2 years as the republican leaders persuaded Eisenhower to run for presidency as Truman's reputation started going downhill. With Senator Richard Nixon as his running mate, and the slogan of "I like Ike" he was able to trump his opponent, Adlai Stevenson to become the 34th president of the united states. Despite being a republican in a mostly democrat Congress, Eisenhower was capable of of pushing out a range of legislative wins. Some of which are the continuation of the New Deal Program set by the previous presidents, an act to combat the great depression, the increase of minimum wage, and the creation of the Department of Health, Education and Welfare.
Foreign Action
Dwight Eisenhower detested conflict, keeping the state of the American people as his main priority in every decision he enacts. Eisenhower himself was the first to create a truce to end the Korean War. His reign was decently peaceful, using the military strength of America to defend the nation, only sending combat troops once during the year 1958 to Lebanon. Though leaving his position at NATO, his original goal was still on his mind, to stop the action of communism around the world. In this mindset, he decided to allow the Central Intelligence Agency, commonly known as the CIA, to lead 2 successful missions with the main focus of destroying the governments of Guatemala and Iran, one after the other. Though some decisions left quite a bit to be desired, as his main focus was to keep maintain the well being of America, he decidedly ignored the pleas for help from the French combat troops to avoid the joining of a war against Indochina, though his hatred for communist leading government still holds. America, under Dwight Eisenhower's orders decided to release information on their plans of retaliation, if America were to come under attack.
The Cold War era fell upon the times of Dwight Eisenhower's presidency. After both America used their atomic bombs on both Nagasaki and Hiroshima, Russian scientists were quick to get to work on creating equal fire power. As america learned on the development of atomic weapons in Russia, Dwight Eisenhower was quick to respond with his famous speech, "Atoms for Peace". This speech promoted the use of atomic energy on peaceful technological advances as oppose to weaponry of mass destruction. Though this speech was made tensions were still quite high. He understood that he had to alleviate as much pressure and negativity that he could of the citizens minds. So he began to take action incase of any arising situations.
This is when Eisenhower decided to set up the meeting of leaders from the nations Russia, Britain and and France to further discuss the danger of atomic armament. His actions and speeches would show that atomic energy itself wasn't just to be feared, but also to be harnessed for good. Along with defending the nation from any scenes of pain, he decidedly signed the declaration of the space race. The space race was the proclaimed race to get a man to the moon, held between the US and the USSR. They wanted to test the technological advances on rocket technology to reapply its principles to the military. No country dared the experimentation of rocket technology on another, because as Churchill said, it would be mutual assured destruction. So these different countries hid the tension of atomic armament by putting up the front of a space race to cover up the experimentations they were carrying through.
Though the space race wasn't the end of Eisenhower's strategic implementations to prepare for attack. He also commanded the creation of Interstate Highway System. A highway network of roads created in the year 1956. Eisenhower took the idea of the Interstate Highway System from Germany's own Autobahn, a federal controlled highway system developed by Hitler, for during the times of war it was a necessity to move army supplies and army tanks quicker. The interstate highway system has the same reasoning for being built as the autobahn, to simply move required military supplies quicker through the cities.
